I got up at 5:15am and went to the Y to run. I couldn't face the cold this morning. I've found that with early morning workouts anything that can possibly be used as an excuse not to workout is quickly justified in my mind, so I laid out my clothes the night before.
Not having any clothes ready is the best excuse to go back to bed.
I was prepared - had it all together - scrapped the windows and drove off to meet up with a treadmill. I got there, found my normal locker, got all dressed, and then realized I forgot running socks. I'm too vain to run with 'dress' socks on with running shoes - that's not really vanity, just good fashion sense. So, I ran without socks in my newer running shoes - 5 miles. Did one mile at a 7 minute pace, really felt pretty good. Then I did my lower body weight routine.
Result: two blisters, one on each foot.
